MY REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE

Many changes have occurred in the Real Estate market and in the laws regulating the industry during the 29 years that I have practiced Real Estate.  When I earned my license in 1979, the contract forms were one letter-sized page which offered many blank lines for an agent to be creative in the negotiations between sellers and buyers.

Times have changed and so have the methods we are using to list and sell properties.  Internet Virtual Tours, email, bigger and better publications, and web pages accessible throughout the world are just a few of those changes. We now use sales contracts that are eight legal-sized pages long and have many standard printed clauses that protect the buyer and seller. They can be negotiated using the FAX machine and/or the internet, signed, initialed and sent back and forth between seller and buyer until final understandings are reached for a completed transaction.

Through the many classes that I have experienced and taught, the designations I have obtained, and the continued support from our Company broker and staff at Coffee County Realty and Auction Co., I have kept up with the changes and this has made the industry continually seem fresh and new to me. I have never become bored with the opportunity to serve others in this way.
